Yes and no it varies from person to person because everyone is different and meditation works for some and others not so much it depends on you.

Meditating is used to either clear your mind, or focus it. It helps with visualization, and the focusing of intent. People might meditate before working a spell in order to make sure their will is aptly directed. It can definitely help, but it's not specifically designed for the use of spellcraft.

Meditating will help bring a person to a neutral, balanced, and focused place and so can help with clairvoyant reading. I know it's not exactly what you asked but given your screen name I thought it might be helpful.

Take the advice above. Personally this also helps the manifestation progress faster because often for me when a spell is in effect it will usually produce results while I'm meditating.

Meditation is good to clear the mind, so you can have full focus on the spell. With practice, your focus will become easier. But, for now, try it. I posted one....awe, I can't find it. Give me a few days, and I'll add it to my profile. (sorry)
