It is difficult to see the moon during daylight. But it is sometimes visible, if there is a "hazy" covering on the sun. You must understand that the moon has no light of its own! The light you see is the reflection of the sun. Sometimes the moon is visible during daylight when it is waning or waxing, when the reflection of the sun is only partly on the moon.
