Drying out a lily flower

Merry ye meet, is there anyone that can maybe give me some tips on how to dry out a lily flower. I got a bouquet from a friend and I see a much better use for it than just standing there.

I have some dried out lilies from a potplant but they did not dry up looking nice. Fresh bloomed from the bulbs they were a nice orange now they are a beige. Most did keep together as a complete flower some shed petals. Loose stemmed lilies from a bouquet stand upright in an empty vase and wait for them to dry out. Or place just the flowers on some kitchen paper towels to dry out.

I don't really need it to look nice, Guess I'm trying something new, use it for something.. like in a ritual, as a remedy, as a oil. but I'll do some reading up and experiment with it a little.

Thank you!!
