@ Brysing / It usually does not work for me. I was just wondering what you knew of it. I have a Kickapoo ( Native American Tribe ) Shaman friend who swears by it and says if unanswered the Earth Spirit willed it otherwise. Sounded to much like Gods will from Christian upbringing and will of the Goddess from Wiccan days. I see no point in practicing a magical spell, act or ceremony if whatever powers that be are going to do what they want anyway. LOL I accept your answer and will avoid bothering with it. :-)

@ Rhiannon / I certainly would not claim someone could not, as they may have the blessing or attention of whatever powers that be which controls Weather Patterns. I just can not do it myself. :-)

Magick is the practice of using energy to manipulate a probability is it not. I'm not saying that you can make it rain in The middle of the desert at will. I'm saying that it is possible to manipulate the weather to be more likely to rain and if at all probable, to make it definite. I really can't see how this is such a controversial topic. Its what proved to me that magick existed nearly 5 years ago. I've even made boasts about it to friends and proved that it was possible to them. I really don't get why so people do not believe in weather magick.

Well it is not that I doubt magic. It is more I doubt individual practicioner can change the weather without devine intervention. If we draw our powers from the Earth how can we then tell the Earth what to do with the weather. We can only ask and I tend to get told no. :-)

Thank you Diligent, for your highly intelligent response and contribution to the conversation.
I'm sure you are right and the Gods of karma thought it was necessary to enforce the will of the great autocorrect to punish me for attempting to guide the young lady in getting her voice heard. You are very wise indeed. ;)

MC, I agree. We don't know.

That is my favorite thing about magic. Sometimes you just never know and my personal favorite ' What if? ' I try to keep an open mind on most things. Just because I can not do it, does not mean someone else can not. I have seen some interesting things in my short time upon this Earth so . . . :-)

Noone is calling you a fluff and I never thought a certain day or time was neccasary but another friend of mine who is Paiute ( Native American tribe ) use to pray for rain at night with a bonfire and he would throw everything from dry seeds of grass and grain to sage brush along with a dash of gunpowder and whiskey to honer and appease the spirits and seed the clouds. It is all quite out of my area of expertise as weather spells never work for me personally. :-)

Apologies olivia we did stray from the point. Personally, I can use weather spells on any day with no items. Simply energy work and chanting, oh and a secluded area. Though the time of year greatly effects what type of energy magick I can do and the probability of its success.
