Finding your religion is something that only you can do. Start out by studying all the different Pagan paths there are out there.
You may be comfortable with being an Eclectic Pagan who takes a little bit of something from all Pagan paths if you don't want to limit yourself.
Its not something that you can or should rush. Its something that will come to you over time.

A couple of meditation methods that could bring things into perspective that have links to them in the searchbar are astral projection and finding your spirit guide. You may also want to explore divinations for answers. But there is also the matter of knowing a little bit about what dieties are out there and what religions they are associated with. I do not have a preferred search for that as i have alwayz hoped that there would be a yearly publication that outlined the different regions of the worlds most popular religions and the gods/desses they worship. There are articles here about it. Its like any relationship. It takes time and understanding. Just my opinion.

Why do people think that Pagan is some sort of religion? Pagan really means disbelief in the "main" religions. To a Christian a Muslim is a Pagan; and vice versa. Paganism is a belief in the old ways, the old Gods. But it is not, of itself, a religion.

Well said Brysing, and magic is not a religion either. To find your "true" religion write down your beliefs. Ponder such things as an afterlife, monotheism verses polytheism, sin, etc.... Then do some research into various religions and their core beliefs.

I don't understand how people can be told what to believe. As children maybe, but as an adult, you need to decide what you believe. Then you can either research to see if what you believe matches any religion or just be you. Most people, even that belong to a particular "belief" have their own personal gnosis.

Soul searching for faith starts within.

I am plagued with the same problem. I still haven't found an ideal religion but I'm sure I'm getting closer. Study everything you can and find your path.
That being said I do know firmly what I believe and I'm not sure there's any religion that I can fit into. I see the spirits as my guides and there are spirits from every religion. They exist on their own particular planes of spirit. I also think that all spirits have the capability of becoming god/desses if given enough spiritual energy.
