Loss of an Elder
By: / Knowledgeable
For those of you involved in conjure communities or ATR communities, we have lost an amazing elder. The wonderful rootworker and dignified Santero, Eddy Gutierrez (Dr. E may be a familiar name to some of you) passed away today from a massive heart attack.

He was an amazing man who approached his spiritual path with respect, who encouraged education and fought against fraud. He was a friend to many and an amazing spiritual adviser to many more.

It is truly a loss for the communities and my deepest sympathies go out to his partner, mother and his dear friends who are all devastated.

May your walk with the spirits continue to be blessed.

My heart goes out to those who are close to him and who knew him. It is a terrible loss for all of us. He was a wonderful man who stood for great things.

The loss of wise elder ,who encouraged honesty and support for entire community is not only loss for his family and community ,but also loss for entire humanity.I have never had the honor to know this noble man ,however my heart is with all people that are mourning for him.I believe that Elders who strive to bring the best in people should be appreciated before and even after their passing.
Peace upon his soul.
