Weather spells don't work. But even if they did, it would cause many problems. For example. If you want it to rain, it would take it from somewhere else and that place would suffer.

If they did work.

Of course a snow spell won't work in the middle of the summer. Weather spells are more complicated than just "i want this to happen". Much like any other spell. If you cast a money spell the money doesn't just show up, it had to come from somewhere. As with weather spells, the weather had to come from somewhere. You should envision the wind coming from the north or north east (if there's an ocean on the east). You want the cold from the north and the precipitation from the water.

Being that it is much less likely to snow in the summer, a snow spell would be much less likely to work. If anything that might bring rain.

I'm not saying a weather spell is guaranteed to work, but no spell is guaranteed to work.

It was supposed to snow 2-3 inches here last week, but i wanted off school. I cast a spell for more snow. Much much more snow. We got 8 ish inches when i woke up the next day. School was canceled.

Spells can only work within the realm of possibility. And weather spells can only work within the realm of possibility of the weather.

I live in florida, so if I used a snow weather spell- no dice. However, if it is raining a drizzle or so outside and I want to take my dog out for a walk, then sure, a spell to stop the rain can work. It works if it's practical. So yes, they work, but don't expect for it to stop a hurricane or something large and impossible.

They don't, you can't control the forces of the universe, they control you.
