Hello, im a 23 year old male who has been practicing wicca for about a year now. Ive been on this site for a while but haven't introduced myself. I am an empath by nature. I have noticed that i have pretty good energies that help those around me positively and would like to dive in deeper. I feel that i am ready to start practicing with my energies, any good places to start? I have been practicing grounding, centering, and shielding but don't know where to go next.
It depends on what you want to do. If you are interested in healing there are various modalities that are energy based, everything from massage to reiki. Qigong is a personal favorite of mine, which I use in conjunction with massage therapy. If you are looking for spellwork, that is personal choice. If there are things you want to change in your life, start there. Or if you like herbs or gardening you can go down that path as well. In general I use herbs and/or candles for most of my spells, or just raw will. There are endless possibilities of things you can use magic for. What are you most interested in? Do you identify with any particular god/goddess/pantheon? While I know many of the gods and goddesses of different pantheon, I speak mainly to the Source (Dio). I am also more likely to use elements and my own power than to call on any gods or goddesses in my work. What you choose to practice though is completely up to you. Every individual's magic is unique to them. If you have any questions let me know and I will do my best to answer them for you.
Well, i have never really done an actual spell. As for my self, i am pretty happy where i am. I do not feel that magic be done when i am personally able to fix something. Healing interests me. Good things yeah to happen to those who i "pray" for. As for those who wrong me, a karmic effect tends to happen to happen to them without wanting it. As for interests, i can only say energies without having been filled with "movie magic"
