Meditation is simply a relaxation and emptying of the mind, which can be improved and added to in many ways according to the practitioner's will. If you have serious troubles with meditation, I suggest that you follow these recommendations:
1) Sit anywhere comfortable
2) Sit down crosslegged, or in some cases, lay down comfortably
3) Close your eyes ( Optional: listen to calming, meditative music)
4) Empty your mind of all its troubles....visualize that you are in a place of absolute emptiness...

This is done by clearing the day's thoughts go and sitting in a comfortable position,I might suggest an Indian Sit and concentrating and focusing.It's more on relaxing.To do this everybody should not bother you so you can concentrate very clearly.
