I have heard of binuural beats before. As my experience goes they will not actually cause you to astral project but rather help your concentration. The projection comes from the mind, not the sound from outside your ears. It is in the mind. They say to attempt projecting in absolute silence and dark but if the binuural beats helps your focus than by all means, have at it.
Hope this was of help!

As others have stated, the whole shi-bang with Binaural Beats is about changing the brainwave activity that occurs inside your skull; it will not immediately lead to Astral Projection, particularly not in a single night; Binaural Beats are things to be used regularly, over time, to see good, full effects. In any case, they will largely help for getting into meditative, relaxed states, in which to more easily fall into sleep, or do relaxed practising of projection methods, or to help you fall into forms of sleep paralysis; at that point also, you could attempt direct, conscious projection, or perhaps model it into Lucid Dreaming, from which you can attempt further methods of advanced projection.
As previously stated, it is vastly preferred that you listen to binaural beats or Isochronic tones while wearing stereo headphones. You will probably want to go for Alpha, or, more likely, Theta tones, to help you achieve what you want to achieve.
