Hi I am Atem and I am very interested in joining a coven to have a true family in a coven people to help me threw my studies and learning's and help guide me if you want to learn more about me you can just got to my profile and look at my bio
Well covens are the "Group" tab. Remember to read through each one of them and find the one you really like. Remember some covens require a certain amount of knowledge in order to join them. You can join "Spell Casters" it's a non-priest or priestess runned coven.
When applying you will be automatically accepted and placed in "Council" position.
If you want to be apart of another coven, then I'd suggest reading their rules and application on the covens page. It will ask you to either send it too the priest or priestess, and sometimes both.
Atem if you want to join a coven you gotta understand that it is a family that comes together and shares knowledge and experience to help each other out. If this is your first time I highly recommend that you start with spell caster because in most covens there are so many requirements and rules, so first start out with spell caster then as you gain experiance and knowledge you may join another coven. Blessed Be.
I do not recommend Spell Casters. They are not a good coven for beginners, nor a good coven for serious practitioners. The coven overall is like a dumping site for teenagers who are more interesting in the cool factor and scare factor of magic than in the real learning and application of it. Beyond this, their reputation on the site is shoddy at best.
I would find a good coven based on what you know of the members, the council, and the priest and priestess. Read the description of the coven of people you notice have similar ideas as you, and decide for yourself if this is a coven you are interested in joining and being a member of.
I agree with Sinfuldelite. To find a group that will truly mould you, take the time to read about the different covens and pick one that is closely aligned with what you hope to achieve.
Might be best prior to that to just read around the forums and still what sticks out at you. There are as much inaccurate information on this site (remember this site is listed as "for entertainment purposes only") as there are accurate...so use your better judgement.
A good coven SHOULD have rules and guidelines but they should be simple enough to follow and should feel right/ethical. A good coven will be able to help you achieve your goals and disseminate correct information and guidance.
