Honey Jar Wax Build Up
By:
I tried searching around for an answer to my question but I could not find it. Sorry if this sounds dense but is it a good or bad thing for the jar to be covered in wax from candle burning? I've read that the wax that falls onto the sides of a jar are compared to "tears". When I started the jar, there was a lot of wax residue, but not so much when I burn candles now. I'm wondering if I should remove the old wax from the jar or keep burning candles on top of the old wax? Basically, I want to know if the wax strengthens the jar in any way or if it should removed since it is compared to something negative?

Also, I did not add herbs to my jar when I first created it. Would it be ok to add them in now that I have some, or is it best to leave the jar as is?

It's only tears if it falls down the sides of the candle while burning, not the jar. The jar is suppose to have wax form around it, as a barrier to seal the energy in. You don't pick the old wax off, you leave it there and burn new candles atop the old wax. And never open a honey jar. The second you do, all the energy you put into it from when you first started gets released and you can't get it back, therefore you'd need to start a new jar from scratch. It's best just to leave it and continue on with your jar.

All, I am in need of some advise. Im freaking out. Yesterday I was moving my honey jar and part of the wax hanging over the side of the lid chipped off. I still have the wax that chipped off. By this happening did it affect my jar? Is there anything I should do?

Also, from reading above, I just realized my candles have been dripping down candle like tears, and ive had one candle that dripped off the jar. Does that mean the intended person is crying?

The build up is common and it usually chips off, I went with my instincts and buried the wax near a tree, and the "tears" are common too, it could mean either happy tears or bad, depending on what feeling you get out of them.. honey jar like any other spell is all about intuition, each person has their own feelings towards it, for example I had wax residue of what looked like to me a little man praying, to me it looked like that, when I asked a friend, she had a different opinion
Just do what feels right to you :)
