Eye Changes

Today I noticed a post on the chat, stating someone place something in their eyes to change them red or some other color.

First off, if you go and read, it will state you are not suppose to place anything in your eyes, this is because it can damange and or blind your eyes. If you see a spell or something that tells you, you must place something in your eyes, don't do it, it could harm you very badly.

To start off with, no spell, incantation, or ritual can transform your eyes into a different color, if you want your eyes a different color suggestion (contact linses). Yes placing something in your eyes that can harm it in anyway can turn the outer parts of your eye red, this can cause horrible iching and a eye rash (pink eye), and can create temporary or permenant blindness.

I find things like that as utterly rediculous. If it seems to good to be true do not do it. It's a common sense thing.

Agreed. It is ridiculous that people post things that could harm the naive kids willing to try it.
I think that the site should have a bigger disclaimer stating that one should not put anything in their eye that is not prescribed by a doctor.
A similar warning for ingesting herbs and "potions" would suffice as well.

Ya, agreed I think people should do that...I don't get why some people on this site can't have the common sense to know not to place anything that is not proscribed by a eye doctor or regular doctor in your eyes.

I guess SoM should have a big forum post for what not to do.

Eyes can change color, not magickly though. As part of genetics eyes can change color due to the iris growing or shrinking in response to stimuli. My eyes turn different colors due to surrounding energy amounts.

Then I am sorry why did you post, my statement post was for magic(k)al purposes. I know eyes change color on their own.
