There are many common herbs you can find in your supermarket. Herbs like sage, chamomile, garlic, onion, dill, nutmeg, allspice, etc. The next time you go to a supermarket, try looking for common herbs. Health food stores may have herbs as well. Go to your kitchen and look at any spices you may have. You may be surprised as to what you can use. There is no harm in using kitchen herbs or herbs you buy from the supermarket or grocery.

If you need herbal properties, then themagickalcat.com has an excellent herbal grimore.

I have found that many herbs have more than one name. Coriander is also known as cilantro, aconite is also known as wolfs bane, althea is also known as marshmallow, bay leaf is a common kitchen herb and bay laurel is the tree the leaves come from, frankincense is also known as boswellia, just to name a few! Research to see if there are any other names the herb is known as, they may be sold under a different name. If all else fails, research the magickal properties of an herb you cannot find and determine if you can substitute a more easily available herb. A place that I go to to buy some of my harder to find herbs is www.dragonmarsh.com message them, they have more herbs than are listed on the website and the owner of the shop is very knowledgeable in herbs. She may be able to recommend a substitute if you cannot find one.

The Google is the friend for you here! Just Type on the herb's name and hit enter. And also studying and researching about herbs is in my opinion.
