Great post Lightseer! Everyone wants some kind of quick fix to their problems, without having to change their circumstances. People want to change, without actually changing anything.

Magick can't do a quick fix, magick will take as long as it needs, it's also depends on the caster though too. Sometimes it also take comittment from the caster as well. I really don't like posts were they ask for a spell that will work institanously. No one knows for sure when or even if the spell will work. It's almost like a roll of the dice.

You might want to explain a little more, bs. Waiting doesn't make sense when we don't know what you're waiting for, nor how you screwed up. No need to be really personal, but you didn't explain anything except your asking of waiting.

I understand as I have issues with my head that doctors have also "fixed" leaving me nothing but wracked with head pain and most of my visual field is gone, not to mention memory problems and a poor temper at times. I was not saying you should not look to magic to help your problems. I just feel people should look first to sensible fixes for normal issues. Not everything can be solved with magic. You can't change your form in the physical with it at least that I know of. Putting all that aside, have you spoken with a healer or tried medicinal herbs? It's worth a shot :)

Lightseer,
Thank you so much for postin this. Its compleatly true. The goda and goddesses of any pantheon di not helpthose that wont help themselves first. Same gose for magick. It wont work unless your doing everythi in your powere to make I work. Magick is not for the lazy.

And who are you talking to stan ? I didnt see anyone curse or ask for anything. but I ciukd have missed something.

You did not miss anything. The person deleted their post about having bleeding in their head shortly after I commented about my head trauma. That or a moderator removed it due to the cursing.

It is ethics. It is the conduct that determines when to use work. This is how you define the choice to use a spell. It is not the thought of a curse being wrong, no, but it is still what you define as when appropriate to do work.
