Now, I have clicked on some members profiles and I have seen that their membership is not a member, but a contributor. I do know that you must be a contributor to be considered to be a moderator. But in everything, there has been exceptions made. I have also seen some of the contributors have not been on in quite some time.

My question is: Must you been on the site for a certain amount of time to become a contributor? If not, how do you become one.

P.S. I do not wish to be a mo, and I do not want anyone to think that from this thread. Just some simple knowledge.

It has nothing to do with mods. All actions are recorded on the site, everything from forum posts to article/spell additions/edits. If your posting was spammy you lose points, if good you get points. Get enough points and you are a contributor.
