Eye Glamour Spell?

Everyone says glamour spells don't work, and I believe them. But recently my friend cast an eye glamour spell, and some flakes of brown started to show in her green eyes. I'm very confused and I want to set things straight, do eye glamour spells work?

Glamours are very real, but are a very difficult form of fairy magic. They are denounced on the fact that they are hard and that many people mistake them for physical change. It is an illusion.

i have a glamour spell which I use when going out sometimes. It always works so yes they are very real
