Yes, that would make sense. There is a strong bond existing undeniably. But so far, it is being overcome by fear caused by the situation.
I don't know how to make the bond between us stronger that he would be able to hold on to what we have.
I believe that in your case you created something similar to a blocked condition. I feel strongly that you overcrowded the bond between you and your beloved with different magickal energies. A spell, if it works, does not negate the effects of a previous successful spell cast, save it be a reversal. However, even if it reversed, all magick leaves a trace; weaker, or stronger, but it always does (it's like when you clean your house; no matter how well you clean it, there will always be something that remains). Then, if in such a condition, the system that is being influenced (in this case, the relationship) gets confused by various energies and strained, thus not responding well to other spells.
It is fairly simple; give it a rest, then try a spell that you feel best works and stick to it. If it stops working- give it time to recover, then try again with a different one after a week.

Hi everyone...
It's me again.
Question --- so far, the spell has worked until yesterday as my ex has been e-mailing me daily. Although it has been 24 hrs since I last got an e-mail from him, I'm not sure of whether to do the same spell again or not to restrengthen it. In 2 weeks we will be hopefully working together and I hope things will be better by then as we will be in constant sight of each other.
Any ideas? Should I repeat the spell or should I just wait and see if he has not communicated?
