First of all I would ask whether you are over 18 years old. Most reputable covens will not accept minors as members because of the potential legal difficulties involved.

If you are over 18 then you might want to try the California listings for covens on The Witches' Voice at http://www.witchvox.com/vn/hm/usca.html That site lists groups, individuals, shops, and events by both state and then by city.
