Ok so I get that there are Catholics in the craft(i am one!)but what I've never gotten is why tarot is still completely unacceptable even to most Christian wiccans. Why?

I can't speak for Christian Wiccans but as far as Christianity is concerned you are to learn your life lessons as laid before you on your path and choose the path through decisions of your conscience mind. Tarot shows you the path and optional paths as well as the lessons you are meant to learn, thus skipping the Christian meaning for living, to learn and grow through experience. If Christian Wiccans still consider this cheating your life path, then that would explain that.

I believe but don't quote me that it is directly referred to in the bible or indirectly referred to in regards to gypsies and paying for readings. I guess it depends on what you know of Christianity and of Tarot on how you could or would answer that question. I believe I kinda took the deeper aspect with my first one but that doesn't mean the simpler one isn't the true reason.

Well, I go on when I get home from school, late at night, sometime in between, and even though school ends next week, I put on as much as I can information that I know that an solve other people's questions...
Also, according to your bio, I agree that magic doesn't just happen, that you have ions and photons that an be charged at the point to which they can be influenced by the human brain. Note that the human brain is a series of logic gates and memory receptors, yet we have emotions and can influence the universe. Something "unexplainable" is going on in mainstream science.

The Bible specifically forbids those who follow it from engaging in fortune telling of any sort.

" Deuteronomy 18:10-13 ESV

There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you. "

Based on this text, many Christians feel that to practice divination of any sort is violating the laws set down by their God.

Leviticus 23:2-3

2"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'These are my appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of the LORD, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies. 3"'There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a Sabbath to the LORD. (NIV)

There are a lot of Christians that don't follow their own Bible, they pick, choose, and switch it around to suit their needs. Don't feel bad, and don't let them tell you what you can and can't do. I find that, when I was a "Christian Witch" It was much easier to just tell people I was full on Pagan, than it was to explain my belief set, which, I would like to make it known, has changed.
