To quiet the mind

Okay so I have seen a few people whom have problems with anxiety and such.I am not singling anyone out there has been a few posts about this topic so I thought posting a board of solutions might help a bit since I too am plagued with the same problem.
Here are a few things you can do

Join a yoga group/class-yoga is good to clear the mind and body it is proven to relax you.
Do meditation-meditation is great for everything dealing with emotional or mental development

Moving on to food
Eating the right foods can help or taking the right supplements
Ginkgo kola is a herb you can use it is good for memory and relaxing the mind

Camomile tea works well for stomach pains and helps calm the nerves

Eat some cucumbers they help you to relax better

Magickal help
Add to teaspoons of Valerian root to a cup of boiling water as it steeps chant:
Nervous anxiety you are dead
Roots and water soothe my head
Bring to me your calming peace
As I will so mote it be.

You can just drink the tea if you like without saying the spell
ps.this tea is bitter use honey to sweeten it or a nice bit of sugar.This spell can be done in the morning or anytime you are at home before you head out for the day.

Chant this when you feel anxious
Nervous anxiety you are dead
Lord and lady soothe my head
Bring your calming peace to me
as I will so mote it be

That spell is good to do when you are on the move.

Another chant you can do is with a vanilla scented candle
Light the candle breath in deeply for a while close your eyes
and just keep breathing in deeply until the candle is warm and then say:
Vanilla candle chase this mess away
Keep me focused on my task today
Help me keep my anxiety at bay.

This spell can be said before you do a presentation and you are at home.Or you can carry a bit of vanilla essence with you in a tiny vial and say the spell substituting the word candle for essence.

The spells here are my own except for the very first in which I take no credit for.
The last two are my own and was inspired by the same person who wrote the first spell.The last two I do take credit for.

That's very thoughtful of you Kiva. I've got a friend that gets nervous and anxious so I programed a clear quartz crystal to keep her calm. Have you tried any of the spells you mentioned?

Hey esk I have written this out like six times trying to shorten my answer.Which is yes I used spells like this and many others but I ahve not used a spell for anxiety attacks since the begining of this year.
Anxiety is just a state of mind and I figured out how to pull myself out of that sort of thinking,don't get me wrong I still get nervous I just learned how to manage or lessen the effects so I can do what I gotta do.
Heck tomorrow I have a presentation for class and this saturday as well but I am more excited than nervous.In fact the only thing I'm getting panicky over is finding clothes to match my team mate for the presentation.
