So i understand now that magick is a very powerful and real force. I guess i want to ask this question because i am someone who is always looking for answers. How does magick actually work? I know that putting intentions into the universe forces it to change reality so it matches your desire; but what does that mean? Does anyone think that magick can be explained on a quantum or scientific level? Will it ever be fully understood? Ah!! so many questions, even if you dont know the answer its worth it to guess :)
To me magic is merely a means to take advantage of the laws of the universe. You can't defy the laws of the universe, but through understanding of them you can take advantage of how the universe works for your own benefit.
My magic is very heavily based in chemistry, math, physics, and biology. Most of what I do is surrounded heavily in research into these areas, so... Yes.
Honesty, no I don't think it will be completely understood. At least, not at the level of existence we are now.
The problem with your question is that if you ask 20 people on this site what magic is, you'll get 22 different explinations.
In my opinion, magic is the process of raising your conscious vibration to higher levels, connecting to the higher self and taking conscious choice in your evolution. Everything else is side effects of that development.
hard to explain, it's directing the flow of energy in your favoure, kind of like fung shui; certain arrangements of a room can alter the rooms energy and bring different things. magick is sort of similar in that way. you need to get enough energy and direct it onto a particular path. of course you still need to work at whatever you want for it to work. [a spell for friends works better if you socialize]
Interesting, i am content with the idea that we live in a universe were matter can be manipulated with more than just physical contact. The full potential of conciseness and energy has yet to be accepted by science. That?s my guess.
Matter can, and is manipulated regularly without physical contact... Depending on how you define that...
-High pressure can turn carbon into diamond
-electricity can be used to break the bonds in water, separating hydrogen and oxygen to make flammable water. Yeah... Flammable water. In reverse, hydrogen when utilized as fuel mixes with oxygen to give off water as a byproduct.
-radiation can fully cook food, from the inside out.
-magnetic fields can be used to defend us from radiation, wipe electronics, deflect wireless signals, and move large objects without physical contact.
-pressure from air can make a large object float, launch a projectile, crush an object, and create powerful explosions.
The universe is sitting there doing the kind of things we can't even manage to utilize at our disposal yet, simply because it can. And its secrets aren't anywhere near fully unlocked... But if that's what you mean by without physical contact, well there you go.
