Music suggestions?
By:
Greetings.

So, I'm looking for any suggestions of music, to play when I'm honoring.

I don't have an ipod, but a CD player.

Playing music off the computer, is out of the question, as my family are too nosy for their own good.

Thanks in advance.

My family is noisy as well, I have to wait till late at night, I use headphones. You can also use a phone that can go on to YouTube and get music from there. I do that at midnight when I have powered down my computer. Invest in some really comfortable headphones, the kind that can help block out sound.

I use Dub-Step or something chaotic sounding for Loki. Other than that, I just use the meditation music on YouTube.

Keep in mind that you can also burn music to a CD on your computer, which you would then be able to play on your CD player.

Perhaps you can burn this tranquil music to a CD:

Tru Spirit has some good music. "Their music ranges from tales of the deep-rooted Norse tradition, to inspirational songs of celebration, to jovial party tunes able to enliven any heathen gathering! "

I also suggest drum beats. It's both traditional and helps guide you along.

Not a Northern Traditionalist myself but I personally like Wardruna's music. It has a nice tribal feel to it.

http://www.wardruna.com/ has some examples I think.

>_> I have to admit that sometimes when I practice galdr, I play Wardruna in the background. It helps me reach the right state of mind.
