Many plants are indeed lovely to have in the garden; Belladonna means Lovely Lady. So long as you know which are dangerous, then by all means grow them; even Monkswood.
Many children will have swallowed fruit pips, apples etc., and come to no harm, so long as not too many are ingested.
However, there is one plant with very pretty white flowers that are sometimes picked by children. It is extremely dangerous! It is Winter Aconite, and every bit of it is deadly!
So, be careful. Many plants are dangerous, but can also have great value. Foxgloves (Digitalis) are poisonous; but a great medicine for heart disease! I grow Foxgloves in my garden; but I would never put them in a salad!

Apple seeds average around 0.6mg hydrogen cyanide (HCN) per gram of dry seed. Since the lethal dose of HCN is estimated to be around 50mg, you will need around 85 grams of dry seeds. This is around half a cup. I honestly never thought about this. So I didn't know. So I looked it up. Its very interesting

I suggest not messing with any poisonous plants at all. You may end up hurt or even dead. Using them for spellwork should be out of the question as well.

Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium) can be extremely toxic and can be lethal to pregnant women. Some women took the tea of the pennyroyal to attempt a natural abortion and ended up dying too. I would stay away from that plant.

Apple seeds contain a cyanide compound. The cyanide is a very small amount and under the hard shell coating. It would take a process to extract the cyanide from the seed, and no way really to tell how many it would take. There are too many variances in nature to know for sure. I believe cassava root also contains cyanide. In any case, i agree with the others, using poisonous seeds or herbs in spell or in the kitchen is much too risky.
