Introduction

Hello, I am a newer member to the wiccan society. I know I have talents that have to do with connecting with the spirit, but how does one truly grasp knowledge through meditation and cleansing and self reflection?
I also find that I have a strong relationship with the spirits that have passed on. I sense presences, see shadows, orbs, and ect. But should I open myself up in order to understand? And how would one do that?

Hello there, nice to meet you! Welcome to SOM, well this is hard really for me to put in words as everyone is different. I'm a highly sensitive person, sensed spites from early child hood, even could see aura's, I've developed my skills now a medium & physic heeler. How I grow I'm not sure really, i think your grow in time not in your physical maturity but more in your inner self. The more I studied & seek knowledge, made changes in my life the more i grew spiritual. I'm very stricken with myself. I pray at least 4 times a day & spend time in mediation connecting with the spirit world, with my deities, my guides etc. I also daily do visualization excises, play with energy & study. For me I personal feel you need to meditate regularly. Keep a dairy of everything, even the smallest thing record it. The more I'm around people the more information spirit will tell me. Sometimes it get's to much so i have to spend time to myself in relaxation. Astral projection is great also, as i get chance to spend time taking to my guides on a different level as my higher self. I find it good for spiritual healing. Just make sure your your shielding a lot as a sensitive you will pick up on everything, some things negative you don't want to absorbed others emotions. You can also feel drained on even the residuals energy. Spiritual cleanse too. Blessed be!
