Nekoshemagosh that's really bad! Poor girl! That's what I mean they really bully people. We had a bad thing happen here once it was on the news, a family did the show wife swap & it broke up the marriage because the wife preferred the husband she swapped with :-/ also supper nanny coursed a divorce also. I don't think it's worth it. All I got out of the show I did was a night in a hotel in London, a frozen sandwich for lunch, & only 10 for dinner when a burger was 10 which is madness! You can get a burger for 3 from the take away. I wish I never did the show but I take away the positive in everything. It happened for a a reason. When something happens that's not so good then we should take away the positives part of it. The positive part was I can now read better when someone trying to take advantage of me, I'm less venerable & also got to tell my Mom how she hurt me in the past. We are now closer. So it's all good :)

What people have to realize, and I mentioned it a dozen times already, is that it is TV based in reality.... all the drama is fake... etc etc etc. If you can not accept that then stand back and let other people take part. If you believe that reality tv is real then you should spend time, lots of time, in therapy.

If you have any problem with then then do not make an application. It will simply be ignored by the producers.

Now, if you look at any reality tv show based on a job or lifestyle, the job/lifestyle is always secondary to the story. Look at Storage Wars; most of the show is about conflict between the cast, or history of the items found in the lockers.

Ice Road Truckers is the same. Think of what a trucker's life is like, his entire life. Then look at the show. Maybe 5% of the trucker's life is represented in the show and most of the show is about people messing up. And if you believe that it is real then you have to believe that every shipment always arrives on time, the truck's breaks fail on every 2nd hill, every 3rd truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere (while still getting the load delivered on time), and the ice is always a few pounds away from breaking.

Look at Cops. Where are all the episodes about paper work, training, meetings and so on? The show focuses only on the 5% of the job of running after criminals.

So whatever form this show takes, it will focus around the people. Fake dramas will happen in their everyday lives. The reasoning is simple. When you get too far into specifics, no one cares; it is only of interest to people already knowledgable in the subject.

So if there is a drum circle episode, realistically it will start with you driving in a car explaining that you are driving to the drum circle, you are excited because your friend Jess will be there and you havent seen her for 3 months, then you explain what a drum circle is... BAM! 2 minutes into the episode you get a flat tire. You spend the rest of the episode trying to flag down help from passing motorists until the end when someone stops and WOW, its your friend Jess, what a happy coincidence, you jump in her car and go to the circke and call a tow truck to get yours. Then end.

Another episode you go to the local occult store and when you come out your car is towed! Oh No! You spend the entire episode in the impound lot trying to get it out and there are delays because you dont have your registration, etc.

(ok you got me, Im watching Parking Wars right now)

Get the idea? The pagan life is secondary.

Again, right now the producers are looking for stories and ideas. Can I say for sure that this is how it will be? Of course not, but considering every single other reality tv show is like that it is a pretty good bet to make.

lol i get it Pet, sorry if it sounds like i'm spamming the forum, i don't mean to, just talking. it's probably going to end up like that. [i kind of hope it does] most people don't like hearing about facts, statistics, and other boring educational stuff [i do though] so it's going to be drama, and a lot of real life stuff avoiding the religion. a lot of candid interviews talking about why the day is important, then things go wrong, but work themselves out in the end, and as the credits roll the circle begins. maybe it will be a good thing, but there's a high chance they'll screw it up and make things worse. as i've said, i'm not going to be a part of this, but i do feel the Pagan community has to come out of the shadows a bit more, or the fears/beliefs will continue and the negative slanderous comments [example fox news] will get worse.

I hate this idea so much

It'll just portray us all as people who believe we can become vampires because people like that will apply and that will set us back so much

I work hard everyday trying to teach the stupid people that you can't become a mythological creature and that we aren't what people (Mostly Christians and the like) think we are like but it will just support that

ZrozexI understand what you mean but I'd change the word stupid to ignorant/ un-knowledgeable/lack of understating .I feel this might maypaintus in abad light, the world (mainly Christian) have there views of us & I think these producers may use this to feed them with there rubbish they already believe about us!

Wether a show is made or not is up to the producers. What the show will look like is up to you, it will based on the feedback they receive now. If it is all about fluffies and portrays you in a bad light then the only people you have to blame are yourselves for not supplying them with better information.

The information is out there people just don't want to learn the truth

I've lost all respect in people who support this show but I respect your decision in helping create this show as it is all about personal opinion what you support

Is it alright if I turn in an application late? Like the 18th or 19th?

Ok, thanks for all the submissions.

I will forward what has been collected to the producers, from here on out it is their project and they will contact some of you in the next couple weeks if they have questions or want your advice in developing the show.

Good Luck.
