I am a second degree druid and was wondering who would be interested in me starting an introductory course to druidry.

I must say that I would be very interested to hear what you have to teach.

Last time i checked druidism is a lost art , there were no surviving druids to teach it so most "druids" are completely self proclaimed and follow the most basic tenets of the Wicca religion.

On the contrary historical evidence of Druidism puts it around the times of the Roman empire and before. That would make it far older then Wicca which is a relitivly new tradition by comparision. So to say that it is based on the most basic tenents of Wicca is a kind of false statement although they do share many concepts. Many religions tend to change over time so no religion no matter what it is is completly original.

That's actually incorrect cukli. There are many branches of restoration druidry. There are a few texts left that many modern druid groups take from. It's not Wicca by any means at all. If you want to know what real modern druidry is, check out an order or check out the stuff to come from this Awen driven scholar. :)

Mostly incorrect. Druidry survived by oral tradition and one or two texts. The movement now is a mixture of rival and reconstruction. It may not be completly the same as the ancient druids but it's foundation and core ideals survive today. I do not have to honor the Lord and Lady of the Wiccan tradition nor do they have to follow the Wiccan Rede.

Right Clev. It's also backwards. Druidry was in full force revival by the 1800's where as Wicca was established in the mid 1900's and actually borrowed from druidry, not the other way around.
