The best description for them I have come across for them is Egyptoid, their origins lie in Ancient Egyptian religion: Nut and Hor Behedety, but the way they are portrayed in Thelema is most certainly different in many (I would say most) respects than how they would be revered in Ancient Egypt.

Lilith is with in all religions she is not just Christian.how do you think Isis got her information to start with? Lilith is a Hebrew concept. She does not belong in a discussion on Egypt. Inanna is also not Egyptian. Ishtar is not either; Anat and Astarte are the closest approximations of these Goddesses in ancient Egypt and They are known as foreign Goddesses.

Am a worshiper of osiris and my relationship with him has been fanstic..i have seen osiris many times during or after an evokation ritual,you can obtain much information on evoking and invoking a deity on www.mananan.com
