This is not an uncommonly know fact about magic. Magic is not as simple as say a few words and what you want to happen will happen. Magic is the manipulation of variouse types of energys through a conciouseness. The reason y candel spells and other things like that work is because it summons other beings like gods, angels, demons, angels, and those who' ve passed. Whatever happens in other realms will effect what manifest in the physical world. Certain people have an affinity with other spirits and certain spirits will look down on the one who had called them. U van also do some magic by just focusing on a purpose. Also doing some otherthings can match the flow of the universe and there some other ways but thats the surface of it. And mutation spells are possible but it requires manipulation of cells or dna, thats not easy.
