Teeth

Ok so this has been happening to me alot over the past three to five years. If i start to get hungry my canine teeth become sharper. If i go without food for a long period of time, nearly all my teeth become sharper and tend to hurt like hell when i clench them, which is pretty much how i normally have my jaw set.

any idea what this means?

of course i have an idea what this means. It means you are being a fluff and hallucinating that your teeth grows when you don't eat. There is no way your teeth would grow if you don't eat. You have asked a question that is completely fluff

Teeth do not "grow sharper" or "longer" from lack of eating. Once your adult teeth sprout, they are as they are. DNA plays a huge role in this. Your teeth are made of bone and enamel, they do not change shape at all under any circumstances.

What I believe is happening is you want to believe that something special is happening, so you have convinced yourself that it has.

Searching with google there apparently are health reasons as to why teeth could become sharper but not because of hunger. Things like decay or your teeth being worn away can make them sharper. I also read one comment where someone grew super sharp adult canines, but this growth is apparently rare but normal recrulting in them for lack of a better term being filed. In any event it's impossible your nonhuman and human teeth don't get sharper due to hunger.

Oh i see, so apparently i am fluff because either you believe it to not be possible or you've never heard of it. I AM NOT CLAIMING TO BE VAMPIRE OR SOMETHING. but my teeth do sharpen on their own and grow dull again, which in my book is either a screwed up genetic defect, or i am in touch with my primal side(not likely).

most the time when they get sharp it is because i am hungry, but on other occasions it may be from excitement, or from my sword practice.

So my main problem is this: If you have never heard of something like this, then it automatically makes the person a delusional, wanna be, fluff out for attention. Learn how to be open minded you dolts

Your teeth do not sharpen. Likely your gums recede revealing their shape somewhat more. This happens when malnutrition begins to take effect, which in turn happens when one goes long periods of time without eating.

Likely the rest of your mouth is more sensitive, lending to the impression that they are "sharper."

If you eat a lot, eat a little less. If you do not eat much, try to eat some more (especially proteins and calories).

Kainen.
Make an appointment with an orthodontist. They are experts at teeth! Probably nobody on this site is!

If I get very sleep deprived my gums and jaw begin to pain, may be the same thing.
