I know it may take a while before new leaders are chosen for the current available and inactive covens, but I was interested in knowing if anyone applied for leadership to any of these covens:
Second Sight
Divine Essence
The Seven Doves
The Broom Closet
I applied for Second Sight.
I believe that if anyone who has been here long enough think they are capable enough, they should apply to one of these covens as well.
From what I know, only the best person from those that are applied are chosen.
I am the only council member of Divine Essence now. Under my understandings you have to be on the site about three months. To apply go to the covens page and go down and there should be apply tab that is in red, I think. Then Pet will decide who will be the coven leader(s).
From what I know, you should make sure your profile is organized and free of grammatical errors. And you should log on regularly and contribute in both chat and forums. And there is no guarantee that anyone who has applied gets accepted as a leader, since I previously mentioned that the admin only chooses the most successful or best person for each coven. It's the admin's decision when leadership is decided.
It appears that Divine Essence is now removed from the list. When it says you cannot apply, it means you already have if you clicked on the apply link. If you didn't, it may be because you're still in another coven or there's a restriction on your account. The coven disappears from the list if the original coven leader logs back on, thereby changing it's status from inactive to active. If you get accepted, the admin will probably message you and it will show on your status. So I strongly suggest not to message the admin about it. He will likely consider it spam.
i applied to The Seven Doves a few months back, while i don't use chat [never liked it] i do write articles and spells, post on the forums, and go through articles and spells on the site to rate/mark as spam. as i said, it's been a while and so far nothing. it's really a waiting game, just go about doing what you do and eventually you'll get an answer. don't know much else other than that really, you're judged based on your knowledge and contribution to the site.
I am under the impression that because in order to apply for a coven you can't already be in one which means you're not likely to get accepted if you then join a coven after applying. I imagine your application goes invalid or something to that effect.
It's a waiting game and I haven't noted any consistencies between those accepted.
