It has no difference. I personally find it harder though. The only spirits I've seen are the following: A man with boots and red eyes, and three men with the old oil lantern.

In the fog it is rare seeing a spirit. As the fog always creates different shapes and moves in different directions. It is uncertain seeing one in the fog.

never looked for spirits in fog myself, though i wouldn't believe i saw a spirit in a fog. the mind plays tricks with you after all, and in a fog you're trying to make out shapes to find your way.

again, i'm going to go with your mind, you can't see so you're on edge. i'm not saying there is no spirits in the fog, but you need to think of all the logical answers to a problem, and if there aren't any then it's probably spirits. it's the same reason why most paranormal investigators do not take orb photo's as proof of spiritual activity, orbs can be easily created by dirt in the air reflecting light or on the lens. a very common thing to do is at night throw a handful of flour into the air and take a picture, you'll get orbs.
