Samhain

First, I'm going to go trick or treating with my bf. Then, all my friends and I are gong to throw a party. After that, I'm going to a haunted hospital place. And for the rest of the night, I'll do things like scrying, invoking, spirit work.

I'm prabably just going to do a simple ritual and then watch a scary movie,i might try scrying too.

Well one of my committee members (think of them as council) have come up with a brilliant party idea which has involved me learning to punt a boat for the past couple of weeks. Basically we're starting off by a canal on my universities campus and me and the committee will be dressed as the ferryman of the river Styx, we'll then take people in exchange for a coin (which we gave out with invites a few weeks back) over and up the canal to a pavilion where there'll be a "Party in the Underworld" most of it will just be music and socializing but there's a feast for the dead going on and a couple of rituals planned that should make it pretty exciting, provided we manage to pull it all off ok, we're being a bit ambitious haha.

Well, I am going to make my own Samhain Ritual to celebrate and acknowledge the spirits that roam. Maybe I will do a fire scrying as well.

I am going to leave offerings out for the spirits, and burn some nice incense for them.

My sisters wanted to do something special for Ronnie and I, so they decorated the dining room with all these holloween props and they're going to be our Dante and Vergil waitors while I dress up as Grell and Ronnie dresses as Sebastian. :) happy day before Samhain guys.

I think I am going walking and find a tree to make a new wand from. My last wand was broken by one of my kids when she was fighting with her brothers she garbed it and broke it.

Me and my circle are going trick or treating then spend the rest of the night contacting our ansesters and asking them for protection for the year.

I celebrated Samhain with my coven last Saturday night. We did a ritual to honor the season that also included a meditation to let go of that no longer needed in our lives. After ritual we held a feast and we set up an altar for our Beloved Dead that we were remembering this year.
