You answered your own question... they make the change on the metaphysical realm. Sadly there are no spells to change your physical characteristics, that would be against nature. If we could change ourselves don't you think every witch in existence would be walking around like they just stepped out of a issue of Vogue magazine?

Like I stated, we have been given the tools to improve our bodies... its just many tend to ignore them because it takes to much effort. A healthy diet, a good excersise routine and proper bathing can improve your skin, hair, smell and in time give you the body you so desire. If you want you can try a beauty spell to start you off.

And if you have any questions about dieting or work out routines I am sure you can find a few articles online. But the best way is at least an hour of cardio, portion control and stick to a certain caloric intake based on your age, race, and height.

I hope this helps.

Blessed be.

I wouldn't say beauty spells are entirely fake. As stated before they won't physically change your appearance at all but they can help to improve the way you look ether by boosting your confidence or giving you the motivation to actually exercise and take care of yourself. They're not shortcuts and they don't work independent of the necessary exercise, they won't even change how much the exercise helps you, they simply help you make time for exercise and get the motivation to get up out of bed and do it.

beauty spells aren't fake. you need to be careful because there are a lot of fake ones out there. in regards to the ones you listed though:

magic cannot change eye colour [if it works it's an illusion]

no. flat out, you cannot change your appearance with magic alone, so you can't go to bed looking like you and wake up Natalie Portman.

don't know about 'body rebirth' so no comment.

loose 20 pounds, maybe, i'd need to look at the spell. magic like weight loss/gain spells can work, but in different ways than you expected. you need to couple it with a healthy diet and exercise, but it works as a motivator, or it helps you shed the pounds faster, or something like that. i cast one two weeks ago, and i get a headache whenever i start eating unhealthy foods, like fast food. i've noticed in moderation i don't get headaches, but if i eat Chinese from my sisters work one night, then grab a burger the next night, i get a headache.

again, need to see the spell, but these can work also. like the weight loss spell though it won't be an overnight new you. i cast one about once a month just to clean my pores. if i haven't cast it in a month or so i break out because all the oil is coming to the surface [i guess] but then my skin is soft and i don't see any white heads or black heads for a couple weeks. of course you need to wash your face and stuff, it's just an extra something to help. a spell that says something like splash water on your face and you'll look like Brittany Murphy, that won't work.

magic isn't a fix all, and magic cannot go against scientific facts. beauty spells are either illusions or motivators.

No those are not real. but people who work under moon magic and moon culture base often find connection to special diets and other things.

Along with Iceland and other cultures have anti aging spells from long ago. But perhaps you need something to give you self love?

Agreed, Neko.

It is right that a spell will not change your physical appearance or genes and DNA, such as: eye color, hair color, etc. This is very true. Energy manipulation and desires will not change your physical appearance or your genes and DNA. I agree with that Hexen, such things will not work for anyone who try that since spells are basically energy manipulation and direction...

However, as vanity said , there is a form of glamour spells which is known as something that works. So saying that it is not fully possible is not fully correct. The form is called: "Illusions".
Basically glamour spells are illusion, nobody says that they actually changes any part of your body or your actual physical appearance or DNA and genes. Such spells are known as putting and illusion on your self and other people around you.
A glamour spell will only change your opinion and your point of view about you beauty and appearance, same thing about other people who are around you. However, nobody said that this changes something actual about your physical body or appearance.
So this is why this is called an "illusion".
This is actually not a bad thing to do, yet it won't change anything about your genes and DNA but it will change your own mind and thoughts. This is actually even a helpful thing, because sometimes it is very important to love yourself and to think about yourself as beautiful - from the inside and from the outside.

A beauty spell can make you feel better about yourself and boost your confidence, and when you feel better about yourself, other people will be more attracted to you. If you take a closer look at the people you admire the most, you will usually find that they have a special inner beauty and confidence that far exceeds any outer beauty they may possess. Work on developing your inner beauty and you will never again feel the need for love spells and beauty spells. I know how trite that sounds, but there are plenty of people in the world who aren't traditionally "beautiful" but who are still considered extraordinary and special.
My personal idea is every body have his/her special beauty, there is no such thing 'ugly person' there is a person who does not take care of himself. Thus, you do not really need a spell. Just love yourself and believe in yourself and you beauty. If you do it, other people will start looking at you differently.

A spell to lose weight might work,as long as you don't expect to lose all the extra weight instantly.

Meh there might be a little misunderstanding about weight loss spells as well.

In this case this is mostly about motivation.

It is true that the spell cannot change the DNA which affects the physical appearance. However, it can motivate you to work hard and achieve your own weight loss by your own self. However, again, this is not a quick fix or something like that. Spells are not miracles at all, same about weight loss spells. If you cast one, it can motivate you to work hard and thus achieve weight loss during a specific period of time by working out and achieving it by yourself, without any miracle or even something close to it. But it cannot be even argued with, it's very obvious that by manipulating and directing your energy or even chanting something, you won't wake up in the next morning and see your body shape different or another physical appearance. It's not a miracle or Hocus Focus as we see in movies.

Weight loss spells, mantras, chants and the like are all good self motivators for you to achieve your goal. They in themselves will notnot magically make you thinner overnight ( as i already told you) , but they may enable you to eat one less spoon of that pound cake that your mom made. They in themselves will not instantly transform you the next day (as many people in this community think and believe) to two dress sizes lower, but they may remind you to take an extra glass of water before the meal starts. They will not make you into the prince charming after a day, but they may add to your confidence. Weight loss spells, and others like that aren't shams in itself but perhaps a reminder that allows you to be the better person you can always become. These spells are self motivating guides, constant reminders that we tell ourselves to achieve what we want to happen. People might get disappointed and think that its not what they thought it was, weight loss spells may not be considered really as a weight loss method but it does have a great influence on how we think. And oftentimes, the effectiveness of any diet program will start and stem out from our motivation, our state of mind. Hope I made my point.
