It's obviously fine if the way you cast the spell is good.
Just like moon phases, tools and ritual supplies, planetary hours and days and circles, the chanting while casting the spell is only optional , so you can do what you will. It means that everything will be fine if you do not follow this optional step. You have many options in magic, many of them are not necessary at all, just as chanting and all of the other optional list of criterions I listed here.
People tend to misunderstand the idea of spell casting and think that the chanting is what makes the spell successful, affective and proper, which is wrong.
The chanting basically helps you to focus on your intent and mention what it is specifically while casting the spell, which helps you to build and raise the energy in a easier and more comfortable way. If you do not chant anything, it will be fine. It's not like you see it in movies (in movies you see people chanting something and then something happens immediately). The chanting is not what makes your spell successful and affective at all.
What you do need to necessarily follow while casting your spell is raising and building up energy, directing it for a specific intent / desire, which is basically the idea of spell casting and how it generally works, without any optional additions and steps ( which are helpful by the way).
Do what you will in your spells, you can be as creative as you wish. Just remember how spells work and how you're doing it.
