I had a dream recently where I saw someone who I felt safe with was in a cabin. There was a thunder storm outside. There was a large skylight in the middle of the cabin. The person was a boy with black hair and I believe I had a crush on him. The vision changed and I was flying with a younger girl over a large choppy body of water toward a cliff where the cabin was. It felt like I had to get there quick. We got inside and the skylight was broken and rain was pouring in. The place was empty except for a bed in the corner which was flopped onto its side. The girl said that he was kidnapped and she said his name but I didnt catch his exact name. Then the vision faded into gray fog and I woke up. Does anyone know what the dream meant?
I also remember the rain falling heavily and making such a loud noise that it rung in my ears. I could also feel the rain falling onto me and as soon it touched me it felt like ice. Those dream was the most vivid dream I've ever had.
dreams should be interpreted yourself because they're personal. for instance the rain, you felt it, which commonly means you're being cleansed of something you feel badly about [say you wronged a person] but say you hate rain, and to you, getting wet in the rain is dirty due to acid rain and dirt in the air and whatever, then you'd have to think about what it means to you.
flying is a common element of dreaming, many people have dreams of flying among others. it's common for someone who is having a lucid dream to dream of flight. how were you flying will help with the interpretation. flying with ease, scared, did you struggle, so on. in general it has to do with your current situation, if you're circling the cabin with ease, then you're on to of a situation in your waking life.
houses usually represent the dreamer, a cabin indicates you will succeed by your own ability. but like with the rain example, it's personal, so it could mean something else to you. over all, i'd write down the dream and interpret it, since it's your first lucid dream it could hold some key information, just don't place all your future events by what your dreams say. many times a dream is just a dream, there to entertain. maybe there's a little something hidden away, but for the most part, it's just your imagination.
