Would this charm work?

Here's my idea for a talisman that can augment magic. I was wondering if anyone who knows something about runes thinks it will work

A paper is cut into the shape of a pentagon. At each corner a rune is drawn:

Laguz to augment divinitory powers and summon the psychic power necessary

Eihwaz: To augment magic itself

Mannaz: To augment the mind

Gebo: To Augment the union of mind and body

Ingwaz: To prevent the effects from draining away

Then I would put my personal bind rune in the center and repeat on the other side

Personally, I wouldn't use paper. If you are wanting a talisman, then you would want a base material that would last longer than paper. As for the runes, make sure you are extremely clear about the purpose of each one because every rune has a reversed purpose. Possibly throw in other parts, such as an incantation that you say as you put each rune on.
You might also want to consider putting a few other things into the talisman to help focus the power of the runes. Oils or stones would work nice I think, if you can embed the stones under each rune on the talisman.
