Rules were made to be broken. Spirits and ghosts are real. "Fantasy" entities are real. You create your own reality and last. There are no rules.
Thank you and have a nice day. Oh. One other thing. Music can be used as a form of meditation.

'there are no rules' i'm going to call shenanigans on, because there are. magic isn't a all powerful do all. it has limits, it can't go against science. it can't get you to fly, turn invisible, transform, so on. rules like the threefold law and avoid 'black magic' is a guideline some people ignore.
yes, spirits are real. 'Fantasy' creatures, while i can't speak for all, yes, but on the astral plain, not the physical. same goes for demons and angels. you don't really create your own reality, yes reality is what you make of it, but just because you believe hard enough you can jump from your roof and be unharmed doesn't mean it works that way.
and yes, for some, music can help a lot in meditation. myself, even if it's classical music, i focus more on listening than drifting off.
Good glad to see someone respond properly. As for magician not bieng able to trump science? Not so sure about that. Those in the magical community have known about multiple dimensions (the astral bieng just one) for centuries. Science is just now catching up on that fact. Some one once said. And I cant remember who. Magic is just science with which we are not yet familiar.
On the contrary all science is is a way to explain the aspects of nature and the world around us in a logical and understandable way. Maybe not now but in the future magick may very well be explained within the boundries of science. So magick although it may be able to do somethings that science cannot is not trumped by science by any means. And as far as no rules when you can raise the dead, become rich beyond your wildest dreams, cure all sickness, and take care of world hunger and starvation all in the span of a single thought then you can say there are no rules. Just saying.
