It probably has a lot to do with the younger members (who seem to always be the ones asking these type of questions)having an interest in the unknown and contacting or communicating with the spiritual world. Others want to contact these entities because they think it makes them look "cool," or they think they can use them to get back at someone that upset them. This of course is just personal opinion, but it seems to be the running trend when it comes to something like this.
They are young teens who want sex. Years ago when i was 13 i looked for how to summon a succubus i never tried going through with it after hearing horror stories of them stealing souls of men.
see, this is what makes no sense to me, maybe it's the generational gap, but i studied the paranormal since i was a kid, i saw spirits, i learned about demons like succubus' yet at no point when i was a teen [13-19] did i ever think of summoning one, dating one, whatever. i understand wanting to learn about them, like i said i studied stuff like that in my teens, but almost every topic i've seen it's because they want to get laid by a spiritual entity.
Well, I understand that Neko. I never asked silly things about being a vampire/werewolf/mermaid I thought it was quite silly. I even see Youtube videos on these misconceptions. Only for more misconceptions to be added to the magical commuity.
Spirits can love us but not in the way you comprehend my grandfather watches over me and sometimes i feel a strong female presence that loves me it may be a lover from a past life but it can only project its feelings not touch you. There is someone for every one if you dont know that person then it is not yet time for that love to be in your life the gods and fate are not for us to understand. Any ways it is a hollywood and other media that makes them interested i mean i thought magic was bs till i watched a special on pagans and i felt called to learn more let them come looking for something stupid but leave enlightened
