For me it was quite hard to be honest, it be years to be my true self. I was raised by my mother who is a Christian. My father is Pagan but we were not close. as I did not meet him tillI was 25 years old. For a while I was in a very demanding church, they were very controlling, now i look back it was like a cult. I seen spirits, auras, connected with angles etc from a very early age. I even remembered a past life & at the age of 4 years old horrified my mother by saying "I'm a witch" anyway years of begin taken off to the pastor for exorcism as begin able to speak to spirit people was *evil* I was constantly told I was communicating with Satan & send them away! I cast a few spells growing up, naturally even knew how to cast a circle. A few years ago I started studying Wicca & found myself. I'm a proud Wiccan! When asked what's your religion? I will say the oldest. Are your a witch? i ask them what do they believe a witch is? If they believe it's some who runs around the field naked, worshiping the devil, them no! I am honest about my religion those who don't like it, then don't like me, simples. If they can't accept I'm Wiccan then to me, there not accepting me! My family have been fine about it now, Shockley! The only family member who does not know is my Nan. My mom has mellowed as she's got older & untreated in know more about Wicca.

I would never say this to my family, ther're kind of religious and they will never understand me, but anyway, I came out to one of my best friends and she told me " You're freaking weird, but we're still friend!":)) and it was kind of funny, I guess..
