Types of fur...

I would like to know some things for a spell I am writing. First, is a wolf's fur similar, not exactly the same, to that of a German Shepherd or a Huskey?
Second, could you substitute saliva for blood in a spell that calls for it?

Whoa, ok, what spell exactly are you doing? Please don't tell me it has anything to do with becoming a werewolf...

Wolf fur is more "shaggy" than a Germ. Shep. Also, depending on the condition, saliva could work.

I don't see why it would no work, and saliva could work, if you're writing the spell, just change it, and like Rav3n has told, if you're trying for a werewolf spell, save your time and resources.

No, not a werewolf spell. Like, its a spell to help you become more agile, stronger, etc. Like a wolf. It is by no means a werewolf spell.

Oh alright. What a relief! I was worried it was a fluff spell!

Well then, I would suggest a picture, preferrably a drawing you have done yourself as a centerpiece. Concentrating on all the aspects of the wolf while drawing it will empower it. You don't need blood. A husky would be closest to a wolf if you want a little fur. They are very close to the wolf family, some are even half wolf.

Another suggestion would be to do it on a full moon, and perhaps get some sounds of wolves howling to really draw the wolf spirit to you, maybe do a little howling yourself to bring yourself closer to it!

Wear a wolf in jewelry or draw one on a smooth rock. You can also purchase totem rocks that already have them neatly engraved with the image of a wolf. This way you can carry wolf medicine with you.

Sounds exciting! Good luck. =)
