What's your fav crystal?

I love moonstone and smokey quartz. I believe they are the most beautiful. We all vary.

Like Nekoshema I collected crystals as a kid before I found out about magick but sadly didn't live in an area where you could buy or find them so I have a limited supply of crystals mainly quartz (white) and a two pieces of amethyst one is a raw piece like would come out of a cave wall and one is very well cut and amazing to look at. I have a red and green stone(s) I love but if memory serves they're both just painted regular quartz though they look nice. I don't use my crystals in magick really though I love the properties of quartz and amethyst. Oh I do have a piece of crystal cut into a ball that looks nice but I can't remember or determine what type it is. It's pinkish in color though not enough to make it definable as any stone I've searched for online. Wish I knew the name but it looks amazing and I have a piece of jade as well. Jade isn't my favorite stone but I like the properties of it.

Tibetain clear quartz crystal and gold rutilated quartz.

If you including berls and other minerals, my favorites are black tourmaline, garnet and aquamarine. I'm beginning to really enjoy working with citrine. Its been calling to me lately.

But my favorite piece of jewelry which I also wear in serious ritual is one that includes bone, onyx, red jasper and garnet.

My most treasured gemstone is a chrysocolla that resembles the surface of the earth from space...whites, blues, and greens. It was my very first semi-precious stone and it has a dent in it naturally that I used for many years like a worry stone, because it fits the thumb perfectly.

What can I say? I can't pick a favorite! They're all wonderful friends. =)
