To me some of the kinesis are very real. Just not as "powerful" as most think. If people can manipulate energy; and practice at it enough why couldn't they manipulate energy enough in electricity and cause some kind of shock? Or do some other kind of minor kinesis? But ths guy on TV? I don't belive in that part, as it could have easily been a trick. That's what I think anyways.

"A new, very unusual "electric" behavior of the bacteria Shewanella oneidensis told biologists from the University of Southern California (USC) ( http://www.usc.edu/) . The opening immediately come up with practical application.

S. oneidensis are very fond of metal particles, swim up to them, sit on them again, "run away", actively move near the object, sit down again. All of this was first discovered only recently.

Vanity's_fire and lunarunes are just explaining facts here.Ok you have concrete evidences on that matter but everybody knows that a human body is an enormous conductor of electricity and what people doing in those acts are facts of the ability of the human body to conduct electricity.Since our body generates electricity,But i'ts really hard to prove people shooting massive amount of electricity without any source.
For those who believe that electrokinesis is true.You may upload a video here of yourself doing such things.And then i will believe you.

The link you provided, Explore, talks about shooting electricity and ki out from the hands at your "opponent". That is clearly impossible, and fantasy. No person can harness electricity, turn it into a ball, and "shoot" it out of their hands.

Now, as someone who is in college and pursuing a scientific degree (Chemistry and Biology), I would like to point out some things concerning the articles that were provided by Red.

This article is talking about the addition of MnO2 and other oxides to cells. The term "electrokinesis", when discussing cells, refers to electrohydrodynamics, or the dynamics experiences through electrically charged fluids. It describes nothing more than the movements of electronically ionized particles. Even so, these all fall under specific electrical laws, physics laws, chemistry boundaries, so on.

So here are some articles that you can read which define what this is, scientifically, and clear up the misconception of the word:

The bacteria name you provided, Shewanella oneidensis, comes from the class of bacteria known as DMRB: Dissimilatory Metal Reducing Bacteria. The only role it plays in electricity is dealing with its cellular respiration: It uses electron acceptors (such as nitrates, metals, sulfates) to oxidize organic carbon. Nothing to do with electrokinesis.
