Pull your body to them, don't change them.. I will make a reference to the time old cliche "Don't move towards the lights!" Except, in this case, you DO want to go towards the lights.

Ok, watch this all the way through.

Feel yourself moving without actually going anywhere? The video is moving forward for you. When you see the lights, draw yourself into them like in the video.

i tried again last night, i knew to draw myself into the lights if they appeared, i knew that if i could get to that position, i could do it, but it was so difficult to even get to the free falling stage. i'm thinking of my ease into the slip was caused by the new moon, perhaps. i'm sorry if i'm leaning on your information so heavily; i'm the only one in my family that practices, my brother fell out of it. so you're help, really helps. lol

Astral projecting is quite like dreaming. You need to be relaxed while doing it. When it is forced you will not be comfortable and the astral plane will be different.

By letting go of the fear you may still have of leaving your physical body and exploring the Astral.

Don't wait for the same thing to happen each time. It may be different. The sensations and visuals can change. You need to visualize a single room that you will go to each time you project yourself, so that you know when it has worked. For example, I project myself to a small room, pure white, with a small well made of light grey stones in the middle. I place all of my worries and troubles into the well each time I project. Before I return, I come back to the room to be sure I'm leaving..

I always in control of a light and i would move it and moved with it. That is interesting whiterav3n that you followed the lights did the person who taught you ever say what they were or meant?

That was over ten years ago, and I don't recall. I'm so sorry! If I was told, it was probably something illusive. I was always told how to do things and why I should do them, never why they worked or what they were. That's why I personally investigated through observation and experimentation and then researched to understand what I had discovered!

I do remember exactly how it was explained though, it always stuck in my mind because of how poetic it was.

I was taught to do it with music that had a steady drum beat that mimicked a heart. I was told to focus on the music, nothing else. To take the music apart and listen to each instrument individually, starting with the drum. Then hear all the separate sounds come together. "Let the music carry you away." That in doing this, I would begin to see lights that are dancing and that I was to follow and dance with them and they would lead me out.

At the time I thought "yeah right! Listen to music and dance with lights? Crazy!" I "humored" the idea and I was shocked when I actually saw lights.

When I began to dance with the lights, the music became louder and seemed closer, until it was as if it was directly in my ears (like earbuds). When I came near the end of the lights the music just stopped. That was the hardest part for me. You know, "what do I do now?" scenario. But I continued to follow the lights which didn't last much longer. Then I was out and asking again "so what do I do now?" Thankfully my spirit animal knew what to do, and led me.

I personally believe the lights are apart of us. When someone has a near death experience their tunnel is dark with a light at the end. The body is "dead" therefore it is lacking life energy and the soul has disattached (so we perceive through the soul and the aura travels with us). When we project, our life force still remains in our body, and only a fragment of the spirit journeys. So instead of a tunnel of emptiness, we are aware of and must pass through our body's energy and aura.

I still like to take my time and dance with the lights when I'm journeying for something more casual/relaxed like inspiration or inner peace. But once you get the hang of it, and you have a goal, you learn to leave faster and the lights don't happen.

That is very interesting thank you for sharing. Like I said I just followed one light but I controlled where it went. I dont use it much any more for astral projection but meditation and play with it.
