Herbalism/Kitchen Magic

I have a rather general question here.

I am expressing a curiosity in kitchen magic. I know that there is quite a bit of herbs involved when utilizing such magic, but as a beginner in this form, does anyone have any website links, basic spells, or any other form of general advice to give me? I am quite curious about herbalism and I am trying to learn more about it before I start working on some kitchen magic.

Earlier I read that pesto makes a good recipe for prosperity. In the herbalism forum there's a topic about potatoes and one about lollipops. A book I love is Supermarket Sorceress. Try Google, if you can find a good list of food associations you can make whatever you want.
