Another (Duh, you should know the answer to this) type of question. But c=do you actually see thing and go places, or is it all visualising when you astral project, like images. My guess is going twords the first thought, does anybody else wanna weigh in?
I would assume you would need to be good at AP, as am I, and I tried this on my neighbor/friend and asked him if he did what I saw (spill a juice on his orange sweatpants) and he relied with "how did you know?" So yes, I think you can move around.
In a sense it's both. It's astral projection. Of course you're going to go some where, even if that's five feet away, but by spirit and not physically. Yes, you actually do see things. You can see things that goes on in the physical as you are projecting. But remember that you just might be seeing what isn't happening physically. This is where visualization has a sense of play in this. Being that it's the astral and you are your own limitation, you could see any thing. Whether it's what's there physically or not. And with visualization you can visualize some thing thing being there and it actually be there; because you make it real by visualizing it. Visualization also has a part in that you can visualize a place to go to and you can teleport there (for lack of better words). But there's another matter with how visualization plays a part in what you see. Many people will say that what you see when projecting astrally is a result of what your mind interprets as being what the spirit sees. Basically it's like your spirit goes and does as you see fit, your body inactive as it appears to be gets these transmissions that the mind perceives as being the stimuli for what is seen, felt, smelled, etc by the spiritual body, and the mind visualizes these transmissions into the reality what what is experienced when astral projecting. Hope that makes sense to you.
Potentially you could see things as you normally would in the astral. But each experience is different, and even more so different when comparing from person to person. The astral may be the same all around, but we all perceive and experience in different ways.
I believe that people who astral project see the samething diffrently only because they are not attuned with the astral enough. It is very easy to let your mind suggest things that you see while APing and while most if not all APers can "see" well enough to get stuff done on the astral, they, including myself, are not seeing the true astral
Actually, what your referring to is etheric projection. I'll explain; there are the three planes:
The physical, that is the plane we know best.
Then the etheric, this plane and ours are 'overlapping' the boundaries between this plane and ours is also very thin. So when people report hauntings the boundary is thinner there. So if you project you think about a place here you go by etheric projection.
Then the Astral, which is basically thought.
