Does science relate to magic?
If so, how?

I don't have much to say on the topic. Magic can be approached as a scientific process, though never as predictable.

But, i hear this book is really good, and it concerns your question. I would think about buying it.

that answer really depends on who you ask. For example, I believe magick and science relate, but another may completely disagree.

I completely agree. I see magic only as unexplained science. Once a magical phenomenon can be scientifically explained, it becomes science

Hi TokyoBoy,
Science and religion used to work together. It's only in the last hundred year that science and the esoteric have been removed from one another. I put part of the blame on the advent of Christianity, when you either had faith in God or were prosecuted. I don't think you either have science or religion...I think that there is both and if we had used science and spirituality as partners then we might be further than we are today. These ancient cultures who blended both were much more advanced then they were originally given credit for. It's hard to even imagine how we would define our western world outside of a Christian context. Imagine if heathens had overthrown Christianity or even the Egyptians, how would they understand the science? I mean, we think it's separate from religion because obviously God didn't create the world in seven days...but how would other cultures have used this knowledge? And science is in that context with Christianity. Which is why I don't put all of my faith (no pun intended), in science.
Bright blessings,
StarWitch.

I suggest a bit of light reading.. I read through a world book, subject physics. Front to back, it is quite informative and, strikes quite a few chords regarding the similar laws between magic and science. I suggest starting there somewhere.

If magick is a part of nature then it is science itself. We just don't understand how it works :)

My fault, if you believe in magick then magick must fit into science. Unless, of course, you deny science altogether.
