At ChironJakal: I have to disagree. Im not saying that we just throw what we know out the window, rather im saying that we should keep an open mind. Just do not say something is impossible just because it goes against what you know.

Also remember that the body is made up of various elements so its not only energy and soil but also water, gas etc.You are also forgetting about splicing of DNA which could be used to turn a human into a non-human in the future and or maybe a way to convert humans into raw energy.

You are not getting my point. Im trying to say keep an open mind with a healthy dose of skepticism. And remember, just cause you think somethings something does not mean that that something is something. Note:Until proven otherwise everything is meh, likely, for lack of a better word.

I'd have to side with Chiron on this point.

"Just do not say something is impossible just because it goes against what you know."

Conversely, don't say something is possible just because you want it to be possible, even though all evidence up to this point suggests otherwise.

I am not saying it is impossible because it goes against what I know, I'm saying it is impossible because it goes against what everyone knows. There are absolutely no recorded reputable cases of a person claiming to go back through history.

None. None at all.

Completely disregarding that is ignorant and comparable to taking any other piece of consistent empirical evidence (such as "heavy things fall downward when dropped") and ignoring it ("gravity is a myth!")

Furthermore, yes there could potentially be purposeful DNA modification in the future, but the future is a complete unknown - absolutely anything is potentially possible in the future. To guess what is most likely to come in the future we study the past and what currently is (AKA science). This taking note of what is and historically has been true is how we keep from making stupid decisions.

The archetypal story here is of a child burning himself on fire. He reaches for the fire, burns the heck out of his hand, and then the next time he sees fire he concludes that it is burning hot without touching it, but by instead by referring to his knowledge on what happened last time. If this child were to apply your logic he'd reach into the fire a second time on the grounds that last time sucked, but you never know about the future - maybe this time it'll be awesome.

So I am quite sorry wolfstar, but this is the healthy dose of skepticism you advise in your own post.

Wierd. Whole post didnt appear. But what I said was that time is intangeable, so you cant time travel. Todays measurements of "time" dont even actually measure actual time.

Indeed. There is no evidence that someone can travel through time, and obviously there is no spell that can do that. I agree completely. But, my advice is: Maybe Bdsofosdf has found something that proves that he traveled back in time for 10 seconds. So my suggestion is, that it is better to read the spell he created, follow his instructions, and after we use it and see that it is true or fake, then judge about it about being fake or not.

Im not saying that time travel is possible, just that do not immediately say that he didnt yet. Like windyone said experiment and see if somethings fake or true.

Yeah, and there are so many people who just know that magick is impossible and cannot exist. You forget that different people have different views.

If the child were to refer to my logic, yes he would know that fire burns but would ask, what if i put, say an oven glove on my hand, would i get burned?

Except there is no reason to believe that Bdsofosdf has any means of time traveling. Continuing with the example of the hypothetical child he would be no more likely to choose a heat-resistant glove than he would a baseball cap or a drinking straw - no rhyme or reason or logical extrapolation, just the trying of something new.

I am not closed to the idea of time travel, but I am quite closed to the idea that it's been accomplished by a random person on the internet who can't use proper English, reports mermaid sightings, and thinks chanting "Your Not gonna steal my Boyfriend
Your not Gonna Steal my boyfriend and that's final verdict" twice is a spell.

If you believe that person is really capable of time travel then I've got a bridge to sell you.

I do not know him/her and that's why I want to find out, he/she could have just simply astrally time traveled.

Is a spell simply not words with intent to bring about a specific action? The 'boyfriend' spell can work if said with enough intent. Spells are being created everyday, some that work and others that do not( at least have not when i tried them) so the spell thing could be true.

Overall we are on the same page, so to speak, so yeah.

I agree with MOST people here. You CANNOT go back in time.
THIS IS AGAINST MOTHER NATURE, MAGICK IS NATURE!!!
I know its not ordinary because it will NEVER be ordinary.
Good Gods, you know you didn't go back in time and thats final! I do get mad at these posts.
