If your going to do a spell then you MUST be certain it will come to pass otherwise 'why do it'. Magic takes it direction from YOU. If your NOT sure something will come of the spell you cast then the universe will NOT make it happen. The elements of the spell are 'supportive' of the spell BUT not the magic itself, that come from YOU. Some spells are 'immediate' some are NOT and require 'time' to work. If you cannot quiet the voice of the skeptic then all your magic will fail.......
I think you;re right. Things have happened that give me more energy and faith that it's working, but then there are those days where nothing happens and I get a bit skeptic.

Depending on the experience you have in magick and the amount of change needed will depend on how long a spell/ritual will take to work. Goals that need a lot of change necessary sometimes needs either a longer time focused on the goal (my longest went for five hours but it flew by) or needs repetition once a day, week, or month until the goal is met.
Magick is best compared with the law of attraction. You focus on your goal, energy of that thought/emotion builds up and based off of how strong that energy is and the amount of effect needed to manifest, the "like" physical equivalent falls into place. So, in theory, if you focused on an object and that it was broken into tiny pieces, eventually, the object would follow this energy's example by meeting its demise. It would heighten its chance of breaking through an accident. But until it is handled or comes into contact with that opportunity, it will remain whole. But we are careful with what we desire to occur because surrounding circumstances are not chosen. When it breaks, it could harm you or others you didn't intend to harm. Going back to magick, a money spell, without proper setup, could in fact give you the opportunity for a large sum with the passing of a sick loved one who put you in their will.
I just did what I think was a great spell, full of faith and passion. I made sure to do it on a Friday night, full moon. Something about it was really great. It has a lot of energy.
