Witchfinder tallisman ???

Post # 1
This recipe for herbal charm to attract and find magickal practitioners is reposeted and reposted online, and calls for combinig
- Rue
- Agrimony
- Broom straw
- Maidenhair fern
- Ivy

Honetly it does not make terribly much sense for the aim, which is supposed to acomplish, so I was wondering

Would anyone please, happen to know the source of the formula ?

Many Blessings

I was not able to find the origin of this charm but it isn't really so far fetched.

ivy = friendship / protection
Agrimony = protection
Madienhair = beauty love spells
rue = grace and clear vision, fidelity
Broom straw = purification and protection with the benefit of straw being used for image magick and for luck as well as representing the figure you want drawn to you.

So if you wanted to create a charm to draw someone to you who was friendly, beautiful inside, truthful but protect yourself while you do so, this charm would seem plausible.

Magic, in itself, is sending out our will or energy to impress upon energies around us and bring certain changes to our lives. Therefore, if this charm was to influence or aid you in finding new friendships it, as previously stated, could be plausible.

A word of warning, rue can cause contact dermatitis and other allergic reactions if it contacts the skin. Be sure to wear protective clothing (gloves, pants, long sleeved shirt, etc) when handling it.
